Celebrity Resorts recently announced that the timeshare company will host the third annual Golf Spooktacular on Thursday, October 29, 2009. The Halloween themed golf tournament benefits Give Kids The World Village, a non-profit resort in Central Florida that provides vacation experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

This year, the Golf Spooktacular’s location is historic Dubsdread Golf Course in Orlando. The tournament will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Played in scramble format, the Golf Spooktacular offers participants entertainment with Halloween characters roaming the course and the chance to participate in various contests to win prizes.

“The Golf Spooktacular is a great event that gives the Central Florida community the opportunity to help GKTW carry out their important mission. It’s wonderful to know that the donations from this event contribute to the joy that the GKTW children experience at the Village,” said Craig Lewis, the president and chief operating officer of Celebrity Resorts.
